I received it! The outside box was a little torn and broken but I opened it up and saw the nice clean box inside :)
I have the stand set up next to my sofa and it is perfect! I am excited to practice stitching with it.

The first issue to get past is the price. Yes, this stand is expensive! Yes, there are other stands priced less that function well for needlework. I know—I have other stands. So why would I spend three/four times as much for another stand? The answer is for the aesthetic pleasure. I purchased this (to use) as furniture in my living room. I needed something with a smaller footprint, yet stable, for my stitching corner. I also needed a stand that I could easily switch out different size frames. The craftsmanship is just beautiful. And I know that quality wood working skill does not come cheap!
The second thing to consider is the functionality. This stand maneuvers very well to accommodate many positions. The levers hold tight and even with a large adjustable frame, it does not go slack. I do have a problem with the additional branch for frames staying tight. But it doesn’t cause the functionality to waiver. Also, I wish the branch arms were a bit longer to fit my largest frame height wise. I needed to add a long wood piece to the upper edge of the branch to lift my largest frame off the nobs that secure the branch. My stand was missing a couple of washers for the branch part, but that was easily remedied by raiding my “washer stash”. The stand is stable and does not wobble or slip.
The packing and shipping were excellent. I received the package very quickly and in great shape.
Overall I’m happy with my purchase. It is beautiful and functional. And It looks fabulous in my living room while keeping my work available.

I peeked inside and was very impressed with the packaging, looks very high end. The wood color and feel is amazing - it is the nicest embroidery tool I’ve owned. Definitely looking forward to swap my 2 cheap stands for this beauty.
